1. Who you are agreeing with
Impostor is published by Ant Dream LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States(“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. The app
Impostor is a party word game played on one device. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store usage rules. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or redistribute the app or its word lists and artwork.
The free version includes the full game and a selection of word packs. We may add, change, or remove features and packs over time.
3. Premium subscription
- Premium unlocks every word pack, including packs added later. It is offered as an auto-renewing subscription, weekly or yearly. The price and period are shown in the app before you confirm.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase. If a free trial is offered, you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
- The subscription renews automatically at the same price and period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription in your device’s Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; Premium stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
- If you reinstall the app or switch devices, use Restore Purchases in the app with the same Apple ID.
4. Refunds
Purchases are processed by Apple, so Apple decides refund requests under its own policies. You can ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases ourselves, but email us if something went wrong and we will help.
5. Content and age
Word packs are meant for fun and may reference films, brands, public figures, and pop culture; those names belong to their owners and do not imply any endorsement. The After Dark pack contains adult themes and is intended only for players aged 18 or older. You are responsible for choosing packs suitable for the people you play with.
6. Playing fairly and safely
The game is about bluffing, not about hurting anyone. Please play responsibly, keep it kind, and do not use the app while driving or in any situation where it could distract you from something that needs your attention.
7. Privacy
How the app handles data is described in the Impostor privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. Apple
These terms are between you and Ant Dream LLC, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection, or intellectual property claims — those are our responsibility. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
9. No warranty
Except where the law says otherwise, the app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability arising from the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top always shows the current version, and for material changes we will let you know in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules, except where the consumer laws of your country of residence give you the right to rely on them.
